Each week five serials face off, and at the end of the show, the audience votes for the three stories they would like to see continue on to the next week. The following Saturday night, their subsequent episodes are pitted against two completely new storylines. Each week's serials could live on for weeks... or be quietly smothered in their sleep – it’s up to you. But whichever pieces you vote for, one thing is certain - by the end of the evening, you will be a Serial Killer!
The three returning serials that begin the season on November 6th are Lunar Tunes, the world’s first – er, second – well, newest adolescent vampire romance musical, The Weaver, a touching drama chronicling the struggle between the beings who create dreams, and Siege Mentality, a romantic thriller about an agoraphobic doing his best in the midst of the worst case scenario.
This 6th season of Serial Killers will see sixteen different serials compete for $1000 in prizes. Don’t miss the show that spawned the hit musical Beaverquest, long-running cult classic and San Francisco Fringe Fest 2010 “Best Ensemble” winner Magnum Opus Theatre, and two of this year’s mainstage shows; Carnevil and championship-winning Watson.
Serial Killers is produced by Victor Isaac, J.J. Mayes & Colin Willkie. Showtime is 11:00 pm, Saturday nights November 6 – December 11, 2010 at Sacred Fools Theater, 660 N. Heliotrope Dr., Hollywood, CA 90004. Tickets are $7 and are available only at the Box Office. For more information go to www.sacredfools.org/misc/serialkillers/.
