Boston Court Premieres WITNESS UGANDA in 2011 Season
Boston Court has announced a world premiere musical as part of its 2011 season, Witness Uganda, conceived and written by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, and directed by Griffin Matthews.
It is based on a true story about an African-American actor from New York who goes to Uganda on a lark to do volunteer work. Witnessing first-hand the lack of basic humanitarian needs, he’s compelled to form a grass-roots non-profit sponsoring the education of a small group of students. Witness Uganda dares to ask the hardest questions about people trying to affect social change, including: is changing the world even possible?
Witness Uganda will open July 23, 2011 at The Theatre @ Boston Court Theater in Pasadena, and is part of another exciting season of shows that includes:

Fin Kennedy’s How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found opening April 30, 2011
John Walch’s The Dinosaur Within opening October 15, 2011.
