Storybook Theatre Presents THE UGLY DUCKLING
Theatre West’s Storybook Theatre presents its award-winning musical The Ugly Duckling with book by Lloyd J. Schwartz and Adryan Russ, and music and lyrics by Adryan Russ, opening on March 5, 2011. The production will be produced and directed by Barbara Mallory Schwartz, with a cast that features Kathy Garrick, Anthony Gruppuso, Heather Keller and Melanie Wahla.The interactive musical about an ugly duckling who turns into a beautiful swan is a fun, happy show inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale featuring audience participation as the kids in the audience learn to quack and waddle like ducks.
It's perfect for children age 3 to 9 and great entertainment for the whole family. Special arrangements are available for birthday parties, school field trips and groups. Storybook Theatre is the professional company that has presented musicals for children at Theatre West for over 25 years.
