RAIN – A Tribute To The Beatles April 12 – 17th followed by Burn The Floor April 26 – May 8th.
Together longer than The Beatles themselves, RAIN has mastered every song, gesture and nuance of the legendary group, delivering a totally live, note-for-note performance. From the early hits to later classics that The Beatles never got the chance to play live, this multi-media concert recaptures the era through all phases of The Beatles' astounding musical career.
The show covers the Fab Four from their very first Ed Sullivan Show appearance through the Abbey Road album, the psychedelic late 60s and their long-haired hippie, hard-rocking rooftop days. For these longtime band members, the authenticity and quality of the music is, and always will be, first and foremost. All the music is performed live, with no pre-recorded tapes or sequences.
Then, direct from Broadway, it’s Burn The Floor, the electrifying ballroom dance spectacular which runs for two weeks, April 26 – May 8th.
This Los Angeles engagement, directed and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, will feature So You Think You Can Dance alumni Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara, and Karen Hauer. Also featured is Vonzell Solomon, second runner-up in Season Four of American Idol, who is Burn The Floor’s female vocalist.
The Pantages Theatre is located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard, just east of Vine Street. Tickets for both shows are available online at www.broadwayla.org.
