YO HO HO! It's A Pirate's Christmas for Me
The NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHo Ace) presents the return of its smash-hit, critically-acclaimed holiday family musical, Yo Yo Ho! A Pirate’s Christmas. Featuring music and lyrics by Scott DeTurk and James J. Mellon, and written & directed by Mellon, it will play through December 31 at No Ho Arts Center in North Hollywood.
In this original holiday musical, it’s up to a little seven-year-old girl named Eve to save Christmas for everyone. What will become of Christmas when Santa Claus and the citizens of the North Pole are kidnapped by a bunch of directionally challenged pirates? This wondrous new musical is destined to become a holiday tradition for you and your entire family for years to come! And, best of all, children under 6 get in for FREE!
The cast features Gil Berry, Brad Blaisdell, Hannah Blaisdell, Bonnie Cahoon, Allie Costa, Janet Fontaine, Alison Friedman, Andy Scott Harris, Alex Robert Holmes, Gary Livingood, Merilee Magnuson, Tia Michelle, Hadley Belle Miller, Nora Rose-Hines, Karen Needle, Maria Scala and Jonathan Zenz.
The production has also assembled an award-winning design team including Dove Huntley (set design), Luke Moyer (lighting design), Jonathan Zenz (sound design), and Curtis C. Jackson (costume design).
