The Gallery Theatre Presents A Man of No Importance
A Man of No Importance is a rare gem that combines the depth and drama of a play with the lyricism and comedy of a musical and is the second successful collaboration by the team of Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. It is a beautiful story about an amateur theatre group in Dublin and their leader, who is determined to stage a version of Salome at his church, despite the objections of church authorities.
Directed by Glenn Kelman, it features the following cast:
Mark Torreso as Alfie Byrne
Amy Glinskas as Lily Byrne
Michael Casabianca as Robbie Faye
Eric J. Hindley as William Carney/Oscar Wilde
Bob Kokol as Baldy
Sue Silva as Miss Crow
Susan Youel as Mrs. Curtain
Sheldon Craig as Rasher Flynn
Carla Heller as Mrs. Grace
Kristopher Barr as Peter
Richard Hughes as Father Kenny
Marss Ramos, Jr. as Brenton Beret
Marilyn Gibson as Kitty
Jennifer Marks as Adele Rice
Josh Lay as Ernie Lally
Dyan Hobday as Mrs. Patrick
Tom Glinskas as Mr. Carson
