Mel Brooks Receives His Star
Mel Brooks , the comedian, actor and producer who gave the world Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and The Producers got a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame today.
Brooks received the 2,406th star during a ceremony in front of the Egyptian Theatre. His son, Max, and friend, Carl Reiner, attended. Brooks, who's 83, has won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards. He's currently working on a musical version of Blazing Saddles.
