Cast Announced for One Touch of Venus
Musical Theatre Guild continues its 15th season with Kurt Weill and Ogden Nash’s 1943 One Touch of Venus. The opening performance will take place on Monday, Feb 7 at 7:30 PM at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. A second, and final, performance will occur on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 3 PM at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum.
One Touch of Venus will star MTG members Jennifer Shelton as Venus, Kevin Symons as Savory, Will Collyer as Rodney and Jennifer Gordon as Molly. The musical will also feature company members Eydie Alyson, Chuck Bergman, Christopher Callen, Pamela Hamill, Maura M. Knowles and Mark Reis with guest artists Zachery Ford, Gregory Franklin, Brent Schindele, Leslie Spencer, Adam Trent and Ann Villella.
One Touch of Venus will be directed by Richard Israel with musical direction by Dean Mora and choreography by Karen Nowicki.
