Free Vocal Workshops with Dan Callaway

Attention singers: Dan Callaway, one of LA’s most sought-after voice teachers, is offering some free vocal workshops next week in Los Angeles.

If you are a member of AEA or an EMC candidate, join Dan for a free vocal workshop Tuesday, April 19 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Actors' Equity Association, 6755 Hollywood Blvd., 5th fl. Bellamy Room, Hollywood, CA 90028.

In this vocal workshop, Dan will focus on some foundational vocal techniques. He will share some very valuable tools and tricks that will increase your success at auditions and see you through eight shows a week. He will work one-on-one with 10-12 Equity members who want to troubleshoot any of their audition book songs.

Please bring your sheet music (an accompanist will be provided). Names will be drawn from those who are interested in having a one-on-one coaching. Or you can come and watch if you are not interested in doing an individual coaching. Click Here for more info about the AEA workshop.

If you’re not a union member you can take a free vocal workshop at Dan’s NoHo Studio. Workshops are held every other Thursday evening and are limited to 3 participants. They fill up fast so Click Here to register. Whether you are struggling with your singing or a seasoned performer wanting to tweak some things, this workshop will give you simple tools that will make your singing easier and more fulfilling.

In addition to teaching, Dan is also a busy working actor performing on both coasts. He just completed a production of Where's Charley with NY City Center Encores! and has played leading roles at the Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, and Musical Theatre West, where he was nominated for an Ovation Award. Other credits include the Broadway National Tour of Phantom of the Opera as well as leading roles at the Guthrie Theater, Sacramento Music Circus, and a Broadway concert with Linda Eder. He is married to Tony-nominated producer Heather Provost.

Don't miss these free opportunities to work with an outstanding voice teacher...and all-around great guy!
