Broadway Summer Vacation Time!
Normally I focus on what’s happening in musical theater in southern California, but with summer vacation season officially in full swing, it’s a great time to get out of town and check out some of the fantastic musicals playing on the other side of the country. No trip to New York is complete without the glitz and glamour of seeing a Broadway musical and right now, the Great White Way is offering something for everyone.
Shows like American Idiot, Fela!, The Addams Family, Promises, Promises, La Cage Aux Folles, next to normal, Memphis, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, In The Heights, and Rock of Ages show the range of productions available. And those are only a few of the great options you have available this summer.
