BroadwayWorld.com Launches Southern CA Awards!
Now this is very cool. BroadwayWorld.com, the biggest theater site on the web, is launching a new set of theater awards for the Southern California theater community, to be presented in December 2010.
Fans of local theater will have the chance to vote for their favorites in 25 different categories that encompass all of the various forms and sizes of theater in the area, from tours to resident productions, large to small, Equity to Non-Equity, play, musical and revue.
Productions that opened in Southern California from September 1, 2009 to August 31, 2010 will be eligible.
Nominations close on October 31, 2010, and the slate of nominations will be announced in early November. Online voting by fans will occur November 15 - December 15, 2010, and the winners will be announced in late-December.
