GLEE's much anticipated second season begins Tuesday, September 21st at 8/7 central. Here's a look at what's coming up for the students of McKinley High.

September 21 – Episode 1 - "Audition"
The season begins with more budget cuts looming and the glee kids reeling from their loss at Regionals. Mr. Schue makes everyone re-audition and there are new members to recruit, including Sunshine Corazon (Charice) and Sam (Chord Overstreet), but Rachel and Finn don't see eye to eye on them.

The episode features cover versions of "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga's "Telephone" (featuring Beyoncé), "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy featuring Bruno Mars, and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison, "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line, "Getting to Know You" from The King and I, and "Listen" from the film adaptation of Dreamgirls.

September 28 – Episode 2 - "Brittany/Britney"
Next is the Britney Spears tribute episode which is designed to highlight actress Heather Morris, who plays hilariously dumb cheerleader Brittany. Four of the kids will have hallucinations after going to the dentist, and Britney herself will sing with various cast members. John Stamos guest stars as dentist Carl Howell.

Songs will include "Toxic," "Oops I Did It Again,” “... Baby One More Time," and "Me Against The Music," (a duet between Brittany and Britney).

October 5 – Episode 3 - "Grilled Cheesus"
The “Faith” episode, reported to be one of Glee's most controversial yet, as each character explores what religion means to them. It also features a big life and death moment involving Kurt's dad. Meanwhile, one of the glee clubbers will reveal they don't believe in God, causing controversy for everyone.

Songs will include "Losing My Religion" by REM, "Papa Can You Hear Me?" by Barbra Streisand (sung by Rachel) and "Faith" by George Michael.

October 12 – Episode 4 - "Duets"
We know there are going to be Rachel-Kurt and Rachel-Finn duets in this episode but that’s all we know for now.

October 26 – Episode 5
A Rocky Horror tribute episode is planned for Halloween with original Rocky Horror Show cast members Meat Loaf and Barry Bostwick playing TV station managers with an interesting proposal for Sue Sylvester, and Mr. Schuster tries to impress Emma by directing the students in their school musical – yes, it's Rocky Horror Picture Show. Of course, we'll hear the iconic number "The Time Warp.”

In other news, Cheyenne Jackson will have a major recurring role in the second season of GLEE replacing Idina Menzel as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, however Menzel will return as Rachel’s mom.

Javier Bardem will also appear later in the season playing a Spanish rock star who befriends Artie. Look for some heavy metal in this episode.

And, Susan Boyle guests as a lunch lady in the GLEE Christmas episode with a story line that has Kurt doing a makeover on her. Boyle will sing a song from her new Christmas album that will be coming out over the holidays.

More to come as later episodes are revealed!
