Stiltz! The Musical
DJWorksMusic and Actors Forum Theatre presents STILTZ! The Musical - a story about love, power, & fame September 24 – October 17, 2010 at Actors Forum in North Hollywood. Music and lyrics are by Deborah Johnson, book and additional lyrics by Paula Miller.
STILTZ! is a modern story based on an old tale about a young woman who is willing to risk her own life and losing the man of her dreams, in order to save the life of her well meaning, yet business bumbling father. Over the course of three days, this damsel in distress is imprisoned in an office and must raise the funds to bail her father out of a bad business deal. Will she be successful in raising the money it will take to save her father’s life, and possibly - - her own?
The world premiere production is directed by Wayland Pickard and Doug Engalla, produced by Deborah Johnson, and choreographed by Michelle Bernath. The cast features Gwendolyn Druyor, Ross Kramer, Larry Lederman, Alli Miller, Robert Moon, Suzan Solomon, and Daved Wilkins.
