Ten Tops returns and Ten West joins All Skate. What?
Comedy is back in the house as Ten Tops returns to Sacred Fools Theatre for an Eclectic Open Mic Night, Monday, February 7th. The evening is produced by Aaron Francis and Stephen Simon (of Ten West), hosted by Carla Jo Bailey, and sign-up begins at 7:30 pm. Show starts at 8:00 pm.Ten performers get seven minutes apiece to do anything they want - from sketch comedy to dramatic readings, rock & roll to interpretive dance, spoken word poetry to apocryphal mime-ery. You never know who you’ll see taking the stage; Sacred Fools mainstage regulars, the valiant veterans of the Ten Tops Collective, old friends, complete strangers, and any number of the handful of L.A.'s performers who come to Ten Tops to try out their newest, freshest works for the first time. It’s a night where anything can, and usually does, happen. The optional theme of the evening is "Shot In The Heart - Love Stories, Good & Bad.”
