Audition Sunday Feb 5th for Joshua Finkel's Spring Classes

Auditions will be held on Sunday February 5th for Joshua Finkel’s upcoming spring classes for teens and adults. Joshua is a Broadway actor, director, and acting coach (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Les Miserables) who now resides on Los Angeles and he is currently offering three great classes. Take a look and see which one may be right for you!
Adult PW 1 Session 3
Ten Wednesdays 7-10 pm. $450
Class dates: Feb 29; Mar 7, 14, 21, 28; April 11, 18, 25; May 16, 23 (No class April 4, May 2, May 9)
Combo Adult/Teen PW Teen Launch
Six Saturdays 11am - 2pm $350
Class dates: March 3, 17; April 14, 28; May 12, 19
These two classes concentrate on the techniques of Comedy and Song Style/Versatility resulting in a performance on Wednesday May 23rd showcasing audition material from each class. You’ll learn skills to effectively find the comedic possibilities in a song or scene as you build a new comic audition song for your book. Then learn vocal and performance techniques to effectively embody the 4 main genres of musical theater scores: Legit, Jazz, Pop/Rock, Country.
Advanced Adult PW 2 for working Adult Actors
Six Saturdays 3-6pm $275.00
Class dates: March 3, 17; April 14, 28; May 12, 19
Get personal expert coaching on the piece of your choice. You design your goals and then set class goals to achieve them. Use your time to:
• Build a new role into your body
• Fill out your audition book with songs currently missing
• Work on ANY monologue, scene, or callback script
• Polish elements of your Cabaret Act or 1 person show in class...your call
