Cast Set For You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown

A limited engagement of the new, revised Broadway version of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown runs February 8 - 17 at the Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks, presented by Cabrillo Music Theatre. Full of music, humor, and insight, the stage musical tackles childhood’s memorable moments that made Charles M. Schulz’ “Peanuts” characters a part of all our lives.

Will this be the day that Charlie Brown actually flies his kite? Can Linus give up his blanket? Will Schroeder give in to Lucy’s romantic advances? All this while Snoopy ponders the meaning of life from the roof of his doghouse. With book, music, and lyrics by Clark M. Gesner, Cabrillo’s all new production features new music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, and additional dialogue by Michael Mayer. The result is a musical family entertainment that could only have sprung from the mind of Charles M. Schulz.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown features musical direction by Dean Mora, choreography by Kirsten Chandler, and is directed by Cabrillo’s Artistic Director, Lewis Wilkenfeld. The cast includes Dane Biren as Charlie Brown, Zachary Ford as Snoopy, Natalie Storrs as Lucy, Jeffrey Scott Parsons as Linus, Reba Buhr as Sally, and Todrick Hall as Schroeder.

Additional activities: Cabrillo’s Animal Rescue Program will be in full force during Charlie Brown. Rescue organizations will be outside the lobby at all performances, with animals in need of loving homes. A post-show discussion with cast, staff and audience will follow the Saturday, February 9th, 2:00pm performance and a signed performance for the deaf and hard-of-hearing will take place on the Friday, February 15th performance. Tickets are on sale now at the box office or by calling (800) 745-3000. Performance take place at the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks. www.cabrillomusictheatre.com
