Hip Hop musical Venice
Matt Sax and Eric Rosen, the team behind the hit show Clay, are back at the Kirk Douglas Theatre with their new show, Venice a Hip-Hop musical about betrayal and politics. This workshop production, commissioned by the Center Theatre Group, is loosely based on Shakespeare’s Othello and promises to be a high voltage musical experience. It will run for three performances only April 15, 16, and 18 at 8:00 PM.
Venice features Malcolm Barrett, Bryan Terrell Clark, J.D. Goldblatt, Nia Renee Hill, Kelly Karbacz, Melina Lizette, Victoria Platt, Brett Ryback, Cedric Sanders, Matt Sax and Talia Thiesfield in the cast. Post-show discussions will be held after each workshop presentation.
