The Light in the Piazza cast set at El Portal
YMTA Productions proudly presents The Light In The Piazza, by Craig Lucas and Adam Guettel, playing at the El Portal Theatre for three weeks only beginning July 10.
Based on a novella by Elizabeth Spencer, the musical is set in Florence and Rome in the summer of 1953. It features an all star cast headlined by veteran film, TV and stage actress Mary Donnelly Haskell as Margaret Johnson. Returning to the El Portal stage after appearing in the hit musical The Marvelous Wonderettes is Stephanie Wall as Clara Johnson. The role of Fabrizio Naccarelli will be played by film, TV, and stage actor Blake Ewing.
The cast will also include Jonathan Kruger (Signor Naccarelli), Darius Rose (Giuseppe Naccarelli), Christine M. Capsuto (Franca Naccarelli), and Gregory Franklin (Roy Johnson), along with Mark Gamez, Dena Drotar, Carina Morales, Fiona Landers, Eric De Anda, Harrison Meloeny, and Lori Merkle Ford.
