Covina Center's Godspell Cast Announced
The Covina Center for the Performing Arts will present Stephen Schwartz’s Godspell June 26 – August 2, directed and choreographed by Larry Watts, with musical direction by David Lamoureux.
The CCPA production is the 2001 revival version of the 1971 Broadway original. The revival has updated orchestrations, and Watts has moved the musical to a contemporary setting, rather than the “flower children and hippie” setting of the original.
Featured in the cast are Huck Walton as Jesus, Joaquin Nunez as John the Baptist/Judas, as well as Mary Lucas, Adrianna Rose Lyons, Emily Mitchell, Jessica Porter, Morgan Reynolds, Bridget Schack, Kyle Short, and Loren Smith.
