Make Me a Song
If you haven’t been out to the beautifully remodeled Covina Center for the Performing Arts yet, here’s a great reason to go. May 7 – 10 you can see the world premiere of Make Me a Song, a celebration of the music of Tony Award-winning composer William Finn. The show will feature personal, haunting and often hilarious tales from Finn’s rich and touching songbook. Mr. Finn’s storied career spans four decades and includes such honored shows as In Trousers, March of the Falsetto’s, Falsettoland (adapted into Falsetto’s), A New Brain, Elegies: A Song Cycle and the recent Tony Award-winning The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Make Me a Song is part of the Los Angeles Festival of New American Musicals.
