GLEE Cast and Screening at Outfest 2009
Outfest 2009, the 27th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, has announced that GLEE cast members Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch will participate in a Q & A session following the screening of a never-before-broadcast episode on July 18. Also participating will be co-creator & writer Ian Brennan and exec producer Dante Di Loreto. Session takes place at the Director’s Guild of America at 1:30 pm.
Outfest’s goals include protecting the past, showcasing the present and nurturing the future by fostering artistic expression of gender, sexuality and LGBTQ culture and its transformative social impact on the world. It is the oldest continuous film festival in LA.
2009 festival dates are July 9 – 19 and will feature a wide variety of film screening and events such as La Mission, starring Benjamin Bratt, and Dare, starring Emmy Rossum and Alan Cumming. Musical theatre lovers can also participate in a special sing-along film version of the musical Funny Girl, starring Barbra Streisand, Omar Sharif, and Kay Medford.
