Peter Paige joins Little Shop of Horrors cast at Musical Theatre West
Peter Paige (from Showtime’s Queer as Folk) has been added to MTW’s cast of Little Shop of Horrors playing Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S. He joins previously announced cast members Danny Gurwin as Seymour (Broadway's Little Women, The Full Monty, The Scarlet Pimpernel), Lowe Taylor as Audrey (The Marvelous Wonderettes, Divorce, The Musical), Stuart Pankin as Mr. Mushnik (HBO’s Not Necessarily The News, MTW’s Silk Stockings), Michael Shepperd as the Voice of Audrey II (Artistic Director of the Celebration Theatre, Little Shop on Broadway), Kamilah Marshall, Meloney Collins and Fredericka Meek.
Steve Glaudini, Musical Theatre West’s Associate Artistic Director will direct the production, which will also feature costumes and sets direct from the recent Broadway revival. Show previews on July 10, opens July 11, and runs through July 26 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.
